Retail brand American Eagle Outfitters opened up 207 store locations of both American Eagle and Aerie across states including North and South Dakota, Texas, Tennessee, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Florida, Montana, Arkansas, and Nebraska. With the global pandemic still at large, there are safety and health precautions set in place at the store locations to ensure that visitors and employees are safe.
The stores are designed to follow a new layout that seamlessly monitors social distancing with curbside pickups and touchless returns. It also has an app to manage capacity in stores and lineups. The entrances will offer masks to customers as well as hand sanitizer upon entering. Employees also go through temperature screenings and health checks, with requirements to wear customized masks and photo name badges.
