McDonald's Japan recently unveiled its line of American Deluxe Burger series, which is comprised of delectable sandwiches made with an American influence. The limited-edition selection draws direct inspiration from Idaho and Texas specifically.
The Texas burger this year features fried onions, two bacon slices, a beef patty, and two melted cheddar slices in a three-bun stack, complete with barbeque sauce as a nod to the state. The 2018 Idaho burger highlights the hash brown incorporation as a nod to the state known as the 'potato country.' It is accompanied by a beef patty, onion, bacon, garlic, cheddar sauce, and black pepper sauce. Notably, the American Deluxe burger series includes a breakfast sandwich for both states as well, including a pork sausage in place of the beef patty.
