The quality of wine is determined by three things: taste, smell, and colour.
Industrial designer, Alvaro Uribe, has designed a limited edition wine glass that functions as a testing tool for the wine connoisseur. The glass is tilted at an angle so that you can see the colour of the wine without the distortion of the glass. It’s also the perfect angle for smell and the tip allows you to drink an adequate amount of wine for tasting. The wine glass is also featured at MoMA San Francisco in an exhibition called ‘How Wine Became Modern’ which runs until late April 2011.
