Carhartt WIP and Converse join forces on launching a two-piece collection of the Chuck Taylor All Star 70 silhouette -- both of which are designed with reference to the workwear label's archival pieces whilst still retaining classic accents. The first of the two is entitled the 'Milner,' and it is adorned in a color palette of dark navy blue, 'Loden,' and 'Mulberry.' The color-blocking design completes the uppers and it is constructed from shaggy wool materials and soft suede fabrics. The inspiration behind the Milner is drawn from Carhartt WIP's Milner Shirt Jacket, which is a part of the label's Fall/Winter 2018 capsule.
The second sneaker in the range is entitled the 'Chalk,' and it it is complete in a white canvas construction with two lacing options and contrasting stitching. This is inspired by the fashion brand's workwear craft as well and co-branding details round out the piece across the footbeds.
