Anna Lomax Designs the All Lit Up! Christmas Tree Sculpture

Designer Anna Lomax has introduced a look at her latest work in the form of the All Lit Up! sculpture reflecting an illuminated Christmas tree. It is in the Victoria and Albert Museum in South Kensington, London and it works together with the entryway columns of the museum. The design installation forms a spiraling structure that creates the traditional look of a festive tree. It is meant to bring a whimsical feeling of joy and child-like playfulness.

Lomax shares, "My design for the 2025 V&A Christmas Tree uses the iconic V&A dome columns as a starting point but gives them an actual playful twist, embodying the 'Christmas Spirit' through a spectacle of light." Senior curator Meneesha Kellay continues, "Lighting up and lifting spirits this festive season, we are thrilled to commission Anna Lomax for this year's V&A Christmas tree installation. Delighting visitors with her playful site-specific response, Anna has taken inspiration from the iconic columns in our Grand Entrance."
