Smart home technology company Alea recently announced an intelligent vent system for the home called Alea Air. This new system helps to transform basic HVAC systems into smart ones by replacing ordinary registers with smart vents. With vents from Alea in place, homeowners are able to take advantage of a number of smart features, such as the ability to track and adjust temperature, keep tabs on air quality, as well as make the most of artificial intelligence, machine learning and predictive tools to distribute air based on preferred room-by-room settings.
The Alea Air starter kit is now available for pre-order, which includes three vents and the connectivity Airhub, although additional vents can be purchased as necessary. When it comes to controlling the system, consumers are able to effortlessly make adjustments—even remotely—with a companion smartphone app.
