In collaboration with Stumptown Coffee Roasters, Alaska Airlines is introducing a unique coffee blend specifically designed for in-flight enjoyment.
At high altitudes, taste buds react differently, altering the flavor of food and beverages compared to ground-level experiences. Alaska's medium-dark blend retains the clean and sweet essence of Holler Mountain but emphasizes a roast that mitigates acidity while infusing a subtle toasty quality.
Notably, Stumptown fine-tuned this roast to deliver a delightful experience, whether served black or with the addition of creamer or oat milk, an option now available on Alaska flights.
The Alaska custom roast will be accessible on all Alaska flights starting in the upcoming fall season and is slated to feature on every flight by December 1, 2023. Consumers can also enjoy the roast at Portland and JFK Lounges.
