Taco Cabana is testing out a few new menu items in Texas this month, including Al Pastor Street Tacos and Al Pastor Tortas.
Available starting on February 28th from select Houston locations, the new dishes will offer consumers the chance to sink their teeth into two iconic Mexican dishes. Al pastor, which roughly translates into 'shepard style' in English,' generally refers to diced pork that's been marinated in a combination of dried chilies and spices. The new Al Pastor Street Tacos pair this pork with diced onions and cilantro, while the Al Pastor Tortas feature diced pork with refried beans, shredded lettuce, and pico de gallo on a bun.
Alongside the new al pastor dishes, Taco Cabana is also testing out new Carne Asada Loaded Fries and Chili Cheese Fries.
