These images are from Richard Mosse’s ‘Airside,’ a photo documentary series looking at the strange and mysterious world of airplane crash simulators.
I feel slightly guilty loving this set of images as they are actually quite dark. Ironically, although these are designed, and used, with the sole purpose of making flights safer, I can’t help but think they do anything but when looking at the images.
In a slightly twisted way, the picture of a plane embedded into a hill is just brilliant.
