Astral Tequila's Margaritacon Aids the Adobe Brick Project

Astral Tequila's MargaritaCon — an event that took place on May 4th and spanned over 170 bars nationwide — promoted sustainability through the Adobe Brick Project. The Adobe Brick Project sees Astral Tequila upcycling its distillation waste into adobe bricks, in collaboration with Green Loop. These bricks are later used to build homes in Jalisco, Mexico.

For Cinco de Mayo and its MargaritaCon, Astral Tequila partners with Barbara Corcoran from Shark Tank in order to amplify the brand's message for social impact. MargaritaCom took over New York City's East Village, offering complimentary Astral Margarita samples at select locations, with each cocktail aiding homebuilding efforts. Lime-themed festivities, including a lime-filled salt truck, enhance the celebration's vibrancy. Attendees can also enter a sweepstakes for a chance to win a luxury trip to Mexico.

Additionally, Astral pledges $50,000 to Habitat for Humanity affiliates nationwide.
