Actor-Inspired Commemoration Collections

Bell Helmets has launched a motorcycle-inspired commemorative apparel collection in partnership with Steve McQueen’s estate. The collection features a replica helmet and limited edition apparel for film fans and motorcycle enthusiasts of Steve McQueen as an homage to the career of the Hollywood legend and racer. Category Manager at Bell, Simon Fisher, spoke about the collection, saying: "As the first name in helmets, it only makes sense that Bell collaborates with the McQueen Estate on bringing to life the Six Day racing replica. This collaboration represents a golden era of motorcycling that both McQueen and Bell helped shape."

The collection consists of a custom 500 helmet worn by Steve McQueen in the ‘64 International Six Day Trials road race. As for the vibrant blue special edition helmet, it has white stripes and red accents that reflect the golden age of motorcycle racing. The word "Steve" is placed on the back alongside a 278 decal that features the iconic actor’s name and details of the historical race. In addition, the apparel collection includes long sleeve shirts, short sleeve shirts, and a tote bag. The black and white designs feature famous quotes from Steve McQueen and a photo image of him wearing the Bell helmet. The collection is currently available, ranging from $20 to $209.
