Nikelab teamed up with designer Errolson Hugh of ACRONYM for a new take on the Nike LunarForce 1s. Errolson Hugh and his line ACRONYM have always been proponents of functionality, and the revamped LunarForces reflect that.
The biggest difference between past models would be the shoe's lateral zipper. Nike has few models that have a zipper, and it is safe to say this was design feature was chosen by Errolson.
The silhouette of the updated LunarForces are much cleaner and sleeker. Also, asymmetrical color-blocking adds visual interest to the shoe. Lunarlon cushioning is used for maximized comfort and a lightweight feel.
The latest Nikelab x ACRONYM collaboration is available in three colorways, made from canvas and suede material. This is contrasted with patent leather uppers and a distinct color-blocking effect.
