The Acorn Rope Light is a unique ceiling lamp that has a refined rustic feel about it. Clustered in a set of three, the 'acorns' bypass the production effort normally put into traditional weaving techniques. Instead, it follows a simpler construction in which the rope used for the lampshade is simply wrapped around the shape of a bottle and then stiffened to keep its form.
Created by Vasiliy Butenko, a designer based in Kyiv, Ukraine, the Acorn Rope Light may be a simple manufacturing job, but it certainly does not look it. Instead, it is beautifully detailed, adding character to living spaces. Especially great for kitchens and dining rooms, the Acorn Rope Light is currently available in two colors: black and brown.
