The ABB NASCAR EV Prototype Was Unveiled at Chicago Street Race

NASCAR introduces a look at the ABB NASCAR EV Prototype, which is the inaugural electric vehicle prototype as a progressive step to showcase the brand's work of achieving zero carbon emissions at the core operations by 2035. The ABB NASCAR EV Prototype is made with the help of its OEM partners including names such as Toyota, Ford, and Chevrolet.

This was unveiled during the Chicago Street Race and was tested on the track with the three STARD UHP 6-Phase motors -- two at the back and one at the front. It boasts an All-Wheel Drive and is housed in a generic body of the Crossover Utility Vehicle that is made from a flax-based composite which adds to the sustainability aspect.
