A-Listers Against Poverty

Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Bono, Salma Hayek, Cameron Diaz, Diddy, Penelope Cruz, Ellen Degeneres, Justin Timberlake, and a host of other A-listers were featured on a MySpace video asking for people to join the fight against extreme poverty in such places as Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the USA.

The effort to raise consciousness against this scourge by urging ordinary citizens to get involved is being spearheaded by Bono’s ONE campaign which has been in existence since 2004.

The organization’s stated goal is "to make poverty history" says OK! Magazine.
