Virtuous Event Celebrations

The 'A Good Week' Launch is on Its Way So Prep for Fun

The countdown is on for the A Good Week launch. Monday, June 18 is the exact date to mark in your calendars. Get ready for a week of invigorating critical analysis (and fun) on the pure goodness that exists around the globe.

This fearless social innovation festival is put on by A Very Good Company, a communications strategist for socially responsible initiatives.

While there are a breadth of different events going on (really, there's something for everyone), here are just a small batch of SocialBusiness.org's picks for the week.

First up is the A Good Week launch event in London, which will be the pump up for a killer week.

'ART vs REHAB' is billed as "a series of focus groups on key themes affecting the relationship between art and rehabilitation." The workshop itself is located at West London Day Centre, Marylebone and dubbed Providing and Promoting Social Inclusion : One in the Same. Never thought there was a connection between art and rehab? That's okay. Either way, prepare to get your mind blown.

If you're all business and want a more practical workshop, then 'Cash-flow modelling using Excel' might be more up your alley. It'll help social entrepreneurs with some basic principles to take your start-up to the next level.

And online, you can "Celebrate Small" with Cafédirect's initiative to show support smallholder farmers around the globe.

Last but definitely not least: the whole week there will be bicycle-related activities to check out. So take out the wheels out and celebrate in Camden.

Of course, those behind the social business couldn't do it all alone. Some of their partners include Action for Happiness, Twins for Peace and The One Foundation.

Whatever you choose to participate in, make next week A Good Week.
