Hongbo Lu Proposes Flying Color Building for Dubai

For the recent Zaabeel Park tall emblem structure design competition, Hongbo Lu entered a particularly interesting design entitled ‘Flying Colors of Dubai.’

‘Flying Colors of Dubai’ is made up of colorful flakes surrounding a twisted structure. While Hongbo Lu placed third in the Dubai design competition, his design is an incredibly futuristic but accessible design. Very cool!

Dubai is perhaps the most opulent example of this mass adoption of avant-garde architecture.
