Minimalist Packable Lamps

These 3D-printed Lamps Can Be Put Together at Home with No Tools

The 'Kit Lamp' is the name of designer Rowan Jackman's 3D-printed lamps. The collection uses hollowed wooden poles and stainless steel parts that hold it all together.

No tools are requires to put the 3D-printed lamps together as the metal components are easily removed and put back on by hand. With this the Kit Lamp can be taken down to near nothingness, making it an incredibly useful light solution for frequent movers. Though the lamps have a minimalist aesthetic, its bare-bones design is taken to such an extent that the piece draws just the right amount of attention to itself. The white ash wood is offset by the electric blue stainless steel connectors, giving it a pop of color.
