3D-Printed Condiment Caps

This 3D-Printed Ketchup Cap Will Make Your Condiment Mess Free

This 3D-printed ketchup cap will save you from having those horrible condiment spills. Tyler Richards and Jonathan Thompson are two high school seniors from Liberty, Missouri that share a love for ketchup.

The two teens are part of a Project Lead the Way Program. It is a national STEM learning initiative. The two students decided to focus their attention on a problem they found very frustrating. This problem occurs with ketchup bottles and the watery mess that you get from the cap when you don't mix the contents properly.

Richards and Thompson designed this new 3D-printed ketchup cap and are very proud, even though their teacher didn't think it was a good idea. The 3D cap works by forcing the ketchup away from the cap and into a small tube at the center, which alleviates the watery mess from occurring.
