American artist and sculptor Joshua Harker has created this vibrant 15 foot light installation designed to resemble a 3D disco bull.
Although formally titled 'Taurus Geodesica,' the unique art project has been lovingly nicknamed 'Disco Bull Head,' and is an innovative three dimensional light installation shaped to resemble a bull's head. The art piece was commissioned by the Bullring shopping centre located in Burmingham, England and certainly fits with the shopping center's title. To create this unique visual effect, the light installation uses projection mapping to present a colorful display for lucky onlookers for the next two weeks.
This 3D disco bull art project is another addition to Harker's impressive resume of work. He has previously designed the 'Shogyo Mujo Skull' for the 2014 Burning Man Festival that consisted of a giant human skull similarly lit up with an eye-popping display of neon colors.
