3D-Printed Selfie Figurines

'CloneMe' Provides People with 3D Body Scans for High Quality Statues

With 3D printing gaining popularity and interest at exponential speeds, this startup in India is right on track, using 3D body scans to create selfie figurines. 'CloneMe' is a startup created by Sidharth Rathod, an engineering graduate and his uncle Dr. Kothari, who is an oral and facial surgeon. With experience across multiple applicable fields, the partners bring different knowledge that is equally important for the high quality recreation of bodies.

Customers must book appointments in advance to have their 3D body scans taken. Then, the scan is made into a further refined model and then finally printed with a ProJet x60 3D printer.

The final products are 12-inch miniature replicas of people's full bodies that can be used as a modern take on a calling card, photograph or even a Christmas gift.
