New Balance Introduces the New Hybrid 1906L Magnet Model

New Balance introduces the 1906L Magnet silhouette which is essentially a hybrid of a sneaker and a loafer model. The silhouette was first debuted on the runways and now, it has received an official launch date just seven months later. The official launch took place on December 11th and it is seen in a colorway palette of navy blue and grey.

This is the first dual tonal look with a thick dark indigo hue in mesh materials to add a seamless touch of breathability and this is paired perfectly with grey overlays which is done in a pebbled leather material. Senior Footwear Designer at New Balance, Charlotte Lee shares, "When Lani [Perry, Senior Product Manager at New Balance] and I were observing the loafer trend, we felt like it was a natural evolution for us as a brand… We talked a lot about the luxury fashion space and how there is no longer a hard line between sports and luxury."
