Super Stacked Car Parks

1111 Lincoln Road Leaves Other Parking Garages in the Dust

Rising up from the streets of Miami is 1111 Lincoln Road, a magnificently built car park by Swiss architects Herzog & de Meuron.

With 300 parking spaces and plenty of shops and restaurants—including a rooftop restaurant—1111 Lincoln Road is a place where residents of Miami can park and then play. It is constructed of concrete and glass with a contemporary stacked look that fits right in with the rest of the street’s slick architecture. According to architect Jacques Herzog, the building is pure Miami Beach, meaning it is "all muscle without cloth."
