I am an educator by profession but an artist by heart. I do a lot of research and writing but ultimately my goal is to remain creative for the rest of my life. I am into volunteering for social justice causes. I am also a photography enthusiast.

What is unique that's not in your bio?

I was born on the same day as Napoleon Bonaparte and the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary - I'm a walking contradiction.

What's your favorite accomplishment?

I helped establish a school for indigenous and climate refugee children in the Philippines.

How do you define cool?

Out-of-the box yet exciting and a must-have.

What is your secret to uncovering trends?

Studying the general atmosphere in society with regards to their acceptance of new ideas. Finding pockets of subculture that can penetrate mainstream culture.

What are your tips for writing a juicy post?

Shock if possible. Engage all the time. Inspire many. Let people talk.

How do you reset to be creative?

I walk for an hour, take pictures, and sit on bench in a park.

What inspires or excites you?

A good book. Delicious food. Beautiful pictures. An engaging question. Loneliness.

Predict something awesome for 2020?

Nostalgia. Disco Revival. Vertical gardens. Touch-screen domestic controls. Queer president.
