Designer Sruli Recht Includes Wooden Clothing in His Latest Fashion Line
Kyle Towers — January 23, 2013 — Fashion
Sruli Recht's latest fashion line includes wooden clothing among a slew of other unconventional materials.
The collection is visually stunning with its triangular textiles, which create a pixilated look. Each textile from each piece pleasantly plays with the light differently and gives it a brilliant, three-dimensional design.
Wood wasn't the only material used in this line. Among a list of others, goat skin, cashmere rib and Austrian felt were also featured. Recht is no stranger to using unconventional materials. In the past he has used stillborn lamb leather, silk extracted from a spider's gland implanted in a goat and a piece of his own skin.
There's no telling how functional and comfortable the wooden clothing pieces could possibly be, but they certainly look fantastic. Not to mention, one would certain earn a lot of attention after explaining what their clothing is made of.
