
GQ & GAP Build the 'Coolest Designers on the Planet' Line

Purveyor of fashion, style, and culture for men, GQ Magazine taps GAP and eight other menswear brands for a fashion collaboration this season. Titled the 'Coolest Designers on the Planet,' the capsule seeks to fuse essentials with a high-fashion twist. The canvas was the GAP's classic sweatshirt — a loungewear piece that is ideal for a cozy night in, the gym or any other activity that calls for comfort and coziness. GQ tasked eight menswear brands — including Balmain, MSGM, No Vacancy Inn, Opening Ceremony, Dsquared2, Officine Générale, Surf is Dead and STAMPD, to produce a design-forward iteration of the piece.
The resulting fashion collaborations boast limited edition pieces that have signature detail elements that can effortlessly be attributed to each of the big names in contemporary men's streetwear. In addition to this project, GQ will be making donations to organizations on behalf of each designer.
