From Urban Nature-Loving Fall Fashion to Forest Nymph-Like Fashion
Vasiliki Marapas — October 6, 2013 — Fashion
Fashion has been known to take its inspiration from various sources -- whether it be pop cultural cues, architecture or even nature-inspired fashion. Nature offers a wide variety of potential looks depending on whether the inspiration comes from a shrouded forest or a peaceful coastal retreat.
Either way, natural spaces offer wide color palettes and sets of textures that the fashion industry can then appropriate into their collections. Designers have been ripping a page out of Mother Nature’s book for as long as human beings have been wearing clothes; it’s fun to get back to the roots of the earth with these natural, organic looks. Designs show that fashion is not the antithesis of nature with down-to-earth -- yet still fashion-forward -- ensembles.
