Zipforce is a Stockholm, Sweden-based startup in the micro-mobility solutions industry that launched its flagship product, the Zipforce ONE. This is a portable electric motor fit for manual bicycles that connects to the drive system of the bike. Once connected, the motor essentially transforms the bike into an e-bike, providing pedal assistance up to 16 miles per hour. It is important to note, though, that the motor can only provide this pedal assistance for approximately 37 miles due to its small size.
Zipforce claims its Zipforce ONE motor can connect to, and function with, any standard bike on the market. This is achievable as a result of the motor's compact size and ease of installation. On top of this, the motor itself only weighs six pounds, making it a negligible amount of weight for most riders. The Zipforce ONE can be ordered from Zipforce's website at an MSRP of $683 USD.
