The Zip HydroTap Touch Free Wave Uses Proprietary Sensor Technology
Michael Hemsworth — April 5, 2021 — Art & Design
The ongoing pandemic has made consumers increasingly aware of the various commonly touched surfaces in their home and that they encounter each day, which is bolstering demand for products like the Zip HydroTap Touch Free Wave. The contactless faucet makes use of proprietary sensor technology that will activate it to dispense chilled, boiling or even sparkling water without ever touching the handle. The sensor will detect hand movements within a 1.5 to 5cm range and will dispense drinking water for a maximum of 15-seconds with boiling water delivery only activated through the twin sensor activation for enhanced safety.
The Zip HydroTap Touch Free Wave faucet is integrated with Direct DryChilling, PowerPulse boiling and ColdCore Carbonation technologies as well as MicroPurity filtration for healthier, cleaner-tasting water.
