I always find it incredibly interesting how many ways there are to tell the time; check out the ZIIIRO Aurora watch to see what I mean. This particular timepiece uses a color gradient scheme to display the time. Taking into consideration the hues used, that gradient appears to have been inspired by the Aurora Borealis.
Basically, the two lines that separates the different colors act as the minute and hour hands for the ZIIIRO Aurora watch. It works rather simply, just like any other analog watch, but with the added artistic aesthetic that would make it a great focal point on the user’s wrist.
Made out of silicone and metal, the ZIIIRO Aurora watch is available in white and gray.
