This concept motor scooter is the three-wheeled version of the Vectrix Maxi-Scooter, the world's first zero-emission motor bike. It goes 0-50 in 6.8 seconds, tops out at 62 mph, and can go about 68 miles on a single charge. The memorable design of this bike, though, is its patented throttle-activated regenerative braking system called DAaRT. This system redirects energy back into the battery during braking. Super cool!
Implications - The idea was to build a bike that would not only be great for the environment, but also get you to where you want to go fast. No getting stuck in traffic! Buying a product that helps you as well as the environment is sure to make you feel good about your purchase.
