This Zen office space was split into two distinct themes for its comfort areas – one inspired by a resort hotel and the other a garden.
Designed for the job search company 'Indeed' in Tokyo by the design firm 'Cosmos More,' the office space focuses more on comfort and relaxation than anything else. The open-plan working areas are in the middle of the office and surrounding them are areas in which employees are able to relax. The Zen office has floor sitting areas, video-game consoles, sunken work stations and an indoor garden complete with comfortable couches.
This office space is able to effectively apply the Japanese school of Mahayana Buddhism 'Zen' to its design in order to promote the mental health and wellness of its employees.
