Photographer Dan Borris started creating the images that comprise 'Yoga Dogs' after observing the actions of Otis, an English Bull Terrier. The photos have now been made into a calendar for 2009 and it is sure to be a hit.
Borris suggests many pups are 'Yoga Dogs,' saying, "Just observe them: Steady deep breathing (unless panting), totally focused attention (unless distracted by a ball or squirrel), and full stretches (especially upon waking)."
These pictures are so much fun. Winnie the weinerdog (dachshund) has to be my favorite, but I get a kick out of them all. Dogs are always good for the soul.
