Toronto-based company 'Bamloff' created a set of fully modular wooden robots called 'WooBots.' Each toy begins as a vehicle such as a car, transport truck or jet plane and has the ability to transform into a robot in a matter of seconds.
With an aesthetic similar to the robots seen in the 'Transformers' film directed by Michael Bay, these creative toys combine authentic wooden materials with mechanics and robotic functions. Bamloff decided to use wood as an eco-friendly substitute for mass-produced plastic.
