Sailor Jerry launched its Women in Tattoo Apprentice Grant to support female tattoo artists. The industry has seen the rise of female artists in recent years; however, it remains predominantly male populated. To celebrate female artists, Sailor Jerry is giving its winning apprentice $10,000 plus $500 in Kingpin Tattoo Supplies. It is also awarding the winner with rare volumes 1-3 of Norman Sailor Jerry Collins' flash books.
Qualified apprentices can either enter the contest or be nominated by a friend or peer to win the prize. Candidates can register between March 21-30 through Sailor Jerry's Instagram account.
In addition to the award, the company is celebrating women in the tattoo industry all month through dedicated social media content.
