WindowSwap, launched by Singapore-based couple Vaishnav Balasubramaniam and Sonali Ranjit, was created for those bored of their everyday window view and seeking relief from "pandemic cabin fever."
The platform invites users to "open a new window somewhere in the world," and allows users to cycle through various picturesque landscapes from people around the globe, offering a reprise from the monotonous lifestyle brought forth by COVID-19. Submissions come from across the globe including window views from Singapore, Brazil, Turkey, and Italy and scenery includes busy city streets, calming views of the rainforest, and even the charming countryside accompanied by hanging laundry.
Thus far, WindowSwap a library of about 6,000 video submissions, meaning there's no shortage of new sights for viewers to behold.
