Resembling the sort of object you pin against your garden wall, the Willow Coat Hanger does a fine job of controlling the tangle of your possessions in much the same way that a trellis does with plants. From Iceland's Faerid studio, Herborg Ingvarsdóttir, Karin Eriksson and Thorunn Hannesdottir produced this totally charming coat rack based on inspiration from nature's forms and fairy tales.
The pretty latticed pattern enhances the conventional shape of the typical coat hanger, fanning the shoulder-supporting fins out across the bottom like fairy wings. A lovely tracery pattern is formed with the delicately cut and white-painted Nordic birch plywood, creating a cluster of irregular openings.
