Artur Bordalo is a Portuguese activist and an ecological artist who often goes by the name Bordalo II and his recent installation boasts the name 'Wild Wild Waste.' It is an immersive art installation that takes up the space of 10,000 square feet in total. It is made up of his iconic animal structures constructed from trash he gathered -- it is complete in collaboration with worldwide creative label Justkids and Zappos.
The artistic piece is made to spotlight human pollution, showing the trash that humans generate to initiate some responsibility in the matter. The artist mainly used plastics that he found in scrap yards, recycling centers, dumpsters, and abandoned factories. The Wild Wild Waste installation is currently on display in downtown Las Vegas at the Life Is Beautiful festival.
