The Westone Earphones 'No Buzz' Campaign Focuses on Sound Quality

Those who are easily creeped out by insects in all shapes and sizes may cringe at the Westone Earphones 'No Buzz' ad campaign. It revolves around disturbing imagery of flies, bees and mosquitos taking the form of classic musical notes. Of course, when paired with the tag line, the images convert from disturbing to clever in the blink of an eye.

Conceived and executed by the DDB ad agency branch based in Hong Kong, the Westone Earphones 'No Buzz' ad campaign was art and creative directed by Asawin Phanichwatana and Nateepat Jaturonrasmi. The imaginative images were shot and illustrated by Surachai Puthikulangkura with additional artistic skills by Supachai U-Rairat.

What makes the Westone Earphones 'No Buzz' ad campaign particularly interesting is that it will make people feel as though they actually have bugs buzzing in their ears.
