The Belgium company WeWatt is exercising sustainability with their creation of the WeBike Peddle Powered Table, where human power is being converted into smart energy.
The design is a table equipped with pedals when used generate power for any of the devices plugged in. In front of the user is an interactive LED display showing the amount of power generated by the peddler.
The tables cost around $13,000 US, with renting options offered. The WeBike helps companies save on energy costs while simultaneously looking out for the health and well-being of their employees. Physical activity is proven to sharpen the mind, and this leaves the user and their electronics charged up before a big meeting.
