'Weapons of War' is a poster campaign designed for the Romeo Dellaire Child Soldier initiative, founded by humanitarian Lgen Romeo Dellaire.
The five posters were designed by Canadian cause marketing agency, General Public Inc. The striking posters highlight the plight of children caught up in war zones across the world and the various roles that they are forced into that are rarely highlighted and discussed. The role of children in wartime extends far beyond child soldiers on the front lines of battle, into other sinister roles like messengers, porters, cooks, spies and sex workers.
The campaign is ongoing and has now extended into a range of playing cards that will be used to educate children in war zones.
