London-based freelance illustrator and Brighton University graduate Marcel George now specializes in creating hand painted watercolor illustrations.
His latest crop of paintings give off a glamorous safari vibe: think Lagerfeld goes to the jungle. Amidst the lush, jungle foliage, lurk lipsticks, sunglasses and the Lacoste crocodile. George re-imagines the fashionista as a tough-as-nails chick; one who is able to brave the dangerous jungle, and look great while doing it. So forget the catwalk, this season's offerings are getting a little more exotic.
If you're a fan of these whimsical watercolor paintings, you can check out George's other work. For instance, his paintings of watches (featured in PORT magazine) are equally as glamorous -- they would look right at home on Don Draper's wrist.
