Staying warm in cold climates is tough, especially when you're out in the middle of a winter wonderland, which is where the 'Ice Womb' comes to the rescue to keep outdoor enthusiasts warm.
Designed by Virginia Melnyk, the Ice Womb is a cube-shaped structure that can be configured to be appropriate for either sitting or standing while getting out of the harsh elements. The interior of the design is covered in cozy pillows to help make the small building more inviting and warm. Speaking on the design aesthetics, designer Melnyk explains on the site, "Shiny and reflective the exterior skin seems to be hidden sitting on top the ice and in the still winter surroundings. Yet like a glowing womb, the interior is plush and warm in contrast to the surrounding landscape."
