'Chucklefish,' a popular independent video game publisher, announced that 'Wargrove 2,' a sequel to the company's turn-based war strategy game from 2019, is in development. Wargrove 2 is being developed by 'Robotality,' a studio with numerous successful games on the Steam platform on PC.
Where Wargrove 1 primarily had a fantasy tone with knights, armies, and princesses, Wargrove 2 takes the franchise even further by adding new types of units and factions, such as pirates or mermaids. According to Chucklefish, Wargrove 2 will feature three engaging stories similar to the campaign in the first game, as well as an all-new roguelike mode, adding new single-player content and replayability to the franchise. The Steam page for the title also confirms that multiplayer modes will be returning.
