Just when you thought all speakers designs were either boring or corporate, Mini Gods have stepped into the picture. The artist, Marka27, has created Mini Gods as individual works of art. Marka27 told me, "The first release will be at the end of July at the San Diego Comicon ToyTokyo booth and also on ToyTokyo.com. The official distributor will be D.K.E TOYS dketoys.com."
Implications - As corporations continue to produce items with similar designs as their peers, consumers are becoming apathetic to frivolous spending as they find there is no incentive to upgrade their current possessions. As such, corporations are now utilizing idiosyncratic product designs to replenish customer interest and entice clients into spending money again. One way to reinvigorate product designs is by borrowing elements from the toy industry.
