Vogue UK showcases the “Greatest Hits†with a little help from freckle-faced supermodel Caroline Trentini and photographer Kai Z Feng.
Fashion editor Bay Garnett was tasked with putting together classic looks that feature masculine tailoring, animal prints and nautical stripes. Many of the chic themed outfits formed an accentuated hourglass figure for the slim Trentini. The designers Garnett chose for the “Greatest Hits†included Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger and Sonia Rykiel.
Implications - Fashion designers are revisiting styles from yesteryears because many of the looks that existed in decades past are still applicable to contemporary settings. Corporations in other industries may similarly look at product designs for goods that existed years prior and borrow design elements, which may potentially spark even newer innovative ideas.
