A deviantART user with the username Destro2k has sculpted these wonderful video game statues out of paper.
Each piece is intricately crafted into a three-dimensional form with two-dimensional panels. This technique makes each bust appear to be pixilated, which in most cases is true of each video game character. The brilliant colors and shading add to the three-dimensional effect very well. It almost appears as if these characters were dragged straight out of their respective game titles and are now a real life physical presence.
The characters adaptations come from a variety of popular video games and include Sonic the Hedgehog, Borderlands and the Final Fantasy franchise. It is fun to try and recognize the variety of iconic characters that span from childhood to adulthood.
