The Verdon Balconies have been designed by Christophe Benichou as a rest spot for climbers that will offer them a place to recoup when braving the difficult but breathtaking cliffs.
The balconies are, as the name suggests, intended for placement on the limestone walls that line the Verdon Gorge in France and consist of a series of metal-made perches. These areas are suspended high above the ground and are expertly positioned to be perfect for climbers to take in the views or even spend the night.
The Verdon Balconies boast covering to protect climbers from falling rock, while the lightweight design of the structures would allow them to be easily removed in the future.
