'Usagi' is a Japanese-Inspired Art and Performance Gallery in Paris

Plans were recently released that showcase the minimalist new interior for 'Usagi,' a Japanese-inspired gallery and workshop space. The interesting concept is a first for Paris, combining elements of art galleries and traditional Japanese tea shops.
The U-shaped space merges into one, with the exhibition space featuring a diverse range of art shows, live performances and lectures. The events thrown in Usagi will be curated by artist Julien Arnaud. The space will also highlight up-and-coming designers and artists, as well as give a platform for international talent.
In keeping with its Japanese theme, chef Mikiko Kanno will oversee an evolving menu that features Franco-Japanese fusions. Overall, the goal of the project was to provide guests with a welcoming atmosphere where traditions of Japan can be enjoyed in the heart of France.
