The view that balconies provide can be a huge draw for buyers, but Heatherwick Studio is aiming to reverse this, by creating an apartment complex with a unique balcony design that'll leave on-lookers in awe of the architecture, rather than the view.
The 20-storey tower is being built in Singapore, and while it's not complete, the studio released concept photos that illustrates the stunning creation. Dubbed EDEN, this complex was designed to serve as an extension of nature, and features a shell-like balcony to achieve that. This balcony features three unique dips, a curved exterior, and will be filled with hanging plants, offering an infusion of nature that's not common in most metropolitan areas.
